Positions:
|
Active Membership:
- Interior Firefighter – enters hazardous atmospheres while using proper protective equipment
- Exterior Firefighter – can be a driver of apparatus, assists with hose handling, and other exterior operations
- Fire Police – assists with traffic control on all incidents

Support Membership:
Social – participates in social events (i.e. – Wild Game Dinner, Annual Adult Picnic, Halloween Haunted House, etc.)
Ladies Auxiliary – supports the Active membership; responds to long duration incidents with refreshments; coordinates fundraising efforts to support the Fire Department
Requirements for Active Membership:
Residency – live within the district; or within a reasonable distance and only with department and district approval
Physical Examination – based on age and position, physical examinations are required either annually, biennially, or triennially
Age – 18 years or older
Training – no prior training necessary; we train you; classes are free; the class that correspond to position is to be completed within first year of membership
- Interior – Firefighter 1 ( 78 hrs)
- Exterior – Scene Support Operations ( 27 hrs)
- Fire Police – Fire Police Class ( 9 hrs)
Drills - minimum of 16 drills each year
Meetings – must attend one of four consecutive department meetings
**Exceptions made for drills & meetings due to work, school, illness, military duty, or otherwise approved by the officers.
Calls – make as many calls as possible
Annual Membership Fee - $1.00
