It is the mission of the Slingerlands Fire Department to offer both emergency and non-emergency response to the residents and those passing through the Slingerlands Fire District, as well as provide Mutual Aid to those Fire Departments requesting the same, both inside The Town of Bethlehem and neighboring jurisdictions. The Slingerlands Fire Department will provide trained personnel to both mitigate and execute the following services, fire prevention and suppression, auto vehicle extrication and disentanglement, technical rescue to include low angle rescue, elevator rescue, ice and cold water rescue.
